Cookie Policy

Last updated: 4 August 2026

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how CBlue SRL (“CBlue”, “we”) uses cookies and similar technologies on cblue.be and its subdomains (the “Site”).

It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes in more detail how we process personal data.

Cookies that are strictly necessary for the Site to function are placed without your consent, as the regulations exempt them. All other categories are activated only after you have given your consent through our cookie banner, which you may withdraw at any time.

2. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. It allows the site to recognise your browser, remember your preferences from one visit to the next and, in some cases, measure how the site is used.

Besides cookies, comparable technologies may be used — local storage, session storage, pixels or scripts. Wherever this policy refers to “cookies”, those technologies are covered as well.

Cookies are described according to two criteria:

  • Who places them — first-party cookies are placed by CBlue itself; third-party cookies are placed by an external provider whose service is embedded in the Site.
  • Their lifespan — session cookies are deleted as soon as you close your browser; persistent cookies remain on your device until their expiry date or until you delete them.

3. Why we use cookies

We use cookies for a limited number of clearly defined purposes:

  • to ensure the Site works correctly and securely;
  • to remember your cookie consent choices, so that you are not asked for them again on every page;
  • to remember the language version of the site you are viewing;
  • to produce anonymous, aggregated statistics on how the Site is used, in order to improve its content and structure.

We do not use cookies for behavioural profiling or cross-site tracking, and we do not sell any data collected through cookies.

4. Legal basis

Cookies that are strictly necessary for the Site to function benefit from the consent exemption provided for by the Belgian legislation implementing Directive 2002/58/EC (“ePrivacy”): no consent is required for them. The resulting processing of data is based on our legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

All other cookies — including analytics and functionality cookies — are placed only after you have given your freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous consent, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Belgian legislation implementing the ePrivacy Directive.

You may withdraw your consent at any time (see section 7). Such withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
